How EXD played it
EXD ran small weekly groups for Journeys in Middle-earth. A campaign normally lasted between four and six weeks, which gave the same party time to work through the story together.
The sessions used Tabletop Simulator. People joined through the EXD Discord and arranged the next session with the rest of their party.
What the game offered
Journeys in Middle-earth is a cooperative campaign game. Players take named heroes across a linked set of scenarios, improve their characters and make decisions as a group.
