ARMA REFORGER RULES
Server rules for our Arma Reforger servers
Our code of conduct
Every player must follow these rules. If the in-game welcome screen differs, this full rulebook takes priority.
We want an honest, constructive community where every player has a voice. Help each other improve, welcome new players and use common sense. Admins may remove anyone who breaks this code or harms the server.
Our community rules also apply across all EXD platforms. You can find the admin list on Discord.
Community policies
Admins, reports and appeals
- Follow admin warnings. Do not argue about decisions in game chat. Doing so will result in a kick or ban. Admin verdicts are final in-game; appeal through a Discord support ticket.
- Reports and appeals: open a ticket in #Support-Request on EXD Discord. Explain what happened and be polite; staff will treat you respectfully too.
- In-game help: use
!adminonly when admins are online. Otherwise use Discord support. - No impersonation. Impersonating an admin or EXD member results in a permanent ban from our servers.
- The same rules apply to everyone. Do not use clan or community status, rank or reputation to demand action from others. This includes admins, members and long-standing regulars.
Fair play and respect
- No discrimination or insulting behaviour. Racism, extreme nationalism, sexism and other discrimination are not tolerated. This covers text and voice chat, squad names, usernames and clan tags, and may extend to Steam profiles. Slurs are prohibited regardless of intent or context. Admins decide what breaches this rule and enforce it regardless of the user's ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. Violations may result in a permanent ban.
- No political or religious discussions. References to political figures in usernames are also prohibited. Do not make political or religious references in other server communication either. Admins decide what falls under this rule.
- No cheating. Hacking, cheating, game exploitation, intentional glitching or stream sniping for an unfair advantage results in a permanent ban.
- No griefing or deliberate disruption. Do not intentionally ruin another player's game or obstruct your own team. This includes blocking or trapping teammates, sabotaging friendly assets, wasting team resources or repeatedly interfering with teammates without a valid gameplay reason. Report it to an admin. Do not retaliate or teamkill the player. Admins judge intent and context.
- Do not share your team's internal intelligence with opponents. This includes resources, spawn points, team composition, player positions and plans. It applies everywhere: game chat, voice, Discord, Twitch, livestream chats, private messages and other platforms connected to the match. Violations result in administrative action.
- Multi-faction exception: information about other teams may be traded in-game as part of normal gameplay or diplomacy. You must never share your own team's internal information with opposing teams.
- Streamers must hide team intelligence. Use an overlay to cover the map, team chat, squad composition and other team information. Ask the Server Team on Discord if you need help setting this up.
- Help new players. We encourage squad leaders and other players to welcome them into squads and teach them the game.
- No advertising or recruitment in chat, usernames or squad names. EXD reserves the right to advertise and recruit for its own community.
Communication
- Be respectful. Keep communication civil.
- No disruptive audio. Music and soundboards are allowed if they do not disrupt other players or drown out communication. This applies throughout games and Discord use. Stop if another player asks you to. A request to stop from any player counts as a warning. Admins decide what constitutes a violation.
- Use English in server communication, except in squad-level and local/proximity chat. Any language is allowed within your squad or equivalent small group and in local/proximity chat. Where groups can be named, indicate their language where appropriate.
- Leaders need basic spoken English to communicate with other leaders and players outside their group. Do not lock a squad or kick someone solely for speaking a language other than English.
Arma Reforger gameplay
Our rules support new players learning the game and experienced players improving together.
- Do not deliberately obstruct your team. Playing without a microphone or operating independently is allowed. Commanders must communicate with their team. Deliberately disrupting your team's gameplay may lead to removal from the server.
- Help balance teams. Everyone is encouraged to take part.
- Squad leaders may kick players for any reason that does not break another rule. Discrimination and soft-locking are not allowed.
- No malicious or retaliatory teamkilling. Report problems to admins. Always apologise for accidental teamkills in all chat.
- No asset waste. This includes intentionally abandoning allied vehicles, driving them into deep water, or digging down friendly assets without a valid reason.
Administration
EXD admins follow the same code of conduct. We aim for consistent punishments, but review each case individually.
Admin verdicts are final and must not be disputed in-game. To appeal an action or make a report, open a ticket in #Support-Request on EXD Discord.
Rule updates

- added an explicit rule against griefing and clarified that players must report it rather than retaliate.
- clarified the squad and local/proximity language exceptions.
- clarified intelligence sharing across platforms and the multi-faction exception.
- removed the rule prohibiting taking supplies from enemy bases.
